Our Story
Tafura was born in Kempton Park, Gauteng in 2022 when our founders experienced firsthand the challenges restaurant owners face during load-shedding. Orders were lost, customers frustrated, and revenue disappeared.
We built Tafura to be resilient - working offline when power fails, syncing seamlessly when it returns. Today, we serve over 2,000 restaurants across South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique.
